Set-up basically consists of inserting the picture card and plugging it in, so it was zipping through my pictures a few minutes after I pulled it out of the box. I was also impressed at the picture quality--the colors are vivid and the images are sharp. I hadn't thought much about how small a seven inch screen is, but on the bright side, it doesn't eat up a lot of space on my desk surface. ;) It's a great value for the money and I'd buy it again with no hesitation.
